Participating in a fly-in program can be a great way to narrow down your options when choosing which college to attend. Many colleges have created virtual programs so you can get to know the campus culture while remaining safe at home.
What is a “fly-in” program?
Fly-in programs are diversity programs created by many colleges and universities to provide opportunities for underrepresented students to tour their campuses at little to no cost. Due to COVID-19-related travel restrictions and public safety measures, in-person visits may not be feasible, but colleges are now offering virtual visits. Priority is typically given to low-income and first-generation students. Take advantage of what your prospective colleges have to offer!
